SAE Brochure 2018

In April 2016 the European Commission presented the Digitising European Industry Strategy (DEI). The overall objective of this initiative is to ensure that any industry in Europe - big or small, wherever situated and in whichever sector - can fully benefit from digital innovations to upgrade its products, improve its processes and adapt its business models to the digital age. This requires not only a dynamic digital sector in Europe but also the full integration of digital innovations across all sectors of the economy.

Smarter-SI White Paper

On the way to digital transformation of their products, European small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) need access to manufacturing facilities for the necessary electronic components and systems. Since SMEs in general are more successful by adopting a niche market strategy for their products, it is expected that quick, flexible, and low-cost production of small lot-sizes is an essential condition for their market success.

European Roadmap Electrification of Road Transport 2017

The European Roadmap on the “Electrification of Road Transport” published jointly by the European Technology Platforms ERTRAC, EPoSS and ETIP SNET, provides background information and R&D&I roadmaps for the electrification of the different vehicle categories.

This is the 3rd edition of the document, an update of the last publication from 2012. It extends the outlook until 2030, such that it can serve as an input for the strategic discussion about the next Framework Program.
