This is the fourth edition and the major update of the ECS Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (ECS-SRIA), which was jointly developed by members of three industry associations: AENEAS, ARTEMIS-IA and EPOSS.

Public Draft CCAM Partnership Proposal

Jointly with a number of other ETPs and associations, EPoSS also is a member of the proposal writing team for CCAM and contributes priorities for R&I actions in connected, cooperative and automated mobility (CCAM) from the perspective of the EPoSS Association to the planning process of the co-programmed partnership on CCAM planned by the European Commission for Horizon Europe.

Joint Statement on preparations for a partnership on Key Digital Technologies (KDT)

Based on the success of ECSEL to deliver on its promise and in view of recent geopolitical developments and rapid technological evolutions in the digital domain, the three Industry Associations AENEAS, ARTEMIS-IA and EPoSS, represented by Jean-Luc di Paola Galloni as Chair of the ECSEL Private Members Board, at EFECS 2019 are calling for a number of improvements to be achieved for an even stronger partnership on KDT.

EPoSS Position Paper “The 12 Commandments for Successful SME R&D Funding”

EPoSS represents the Smart Systems community and hence also acts as the voice of SMEs, particularly high-tech SMEs. Correspondingly this position paper describes view of EPoSS concerning the crucial determinants for future funding schemes in Europe with respect to significantly increasing the participation in future of high-tech SMEs which offer excellent skills and equipment relative to their size and are fully capable of performing ambitious R&D activities.

The updated ECS-SRA for 2019

The first ever joint Electronic Components & Systems (ECS) Strategic Research Agenda (SRA) was published in January 2018. Each year the three European industry associations AENEAS, ARTEMIS-IA and EPoSS, spanning the entire value chain, set out their vision for digital Europe, the key application areas, the R&D&I challenges and solutions.

Position Paper: Smart Systems for the Automated Hospital

The European Technology Platform on Smart Systems Integration – EPoSS – aims at contributing to the societal challenge of digitising healthcare for the benefit of patients and the society by addressing the issue of automation in the hospitals, where the potential impact of smartware on the delivery of healthcare is greatest with respect to quality, accessibility and cost-reduction.
