EXPANSE AI Scale-up Academy calls for expression interest

Register now for the EXPANSE AI Scale-up Academy!

EXPANSE AI is a European initiative (Coordination and Supporting Action) aimed at strengthening Europe’s AI innovation and scale-up capabilities and supporting promising technologies on their path from research to market. By connecting European innovators along the AI value chain – from advanced chips and high-quality data sets to AI algorithms and models, the project seeks to contribute to a more competitive, resilient and trustworthy European AI ecosystem.

As part of this ambition, the Scale-Up Academy supports research and innovation teams in strengthening their market readiness, partnerships and scale-up capabilities.

The Scale-Up Academy is a 12-month, cohort-based programme for teams with an existing software or hardware-based pilot or prototype of an AI application – and for innovators with a promising dataset, technology or research result from which a new pilot could emerge.

Please register for the expression of interest by 24 October 2026.

The purpose of this programme is to help researchers and innovators to establish collaborations along the AI value chain – from semiconductor engineers, robotics experts to frontier AI model developers, build pilot teams and progress towards market-ready and scalable solutions.
