The wearable technology market is growing swiftly. Different devices get more and more importance in our daily life. Glasses, jewellery, headgear, belts, armwear, wristwear, legwear, footwear, skin patches and e-textiles all get a different meaning and utility. There are many smart wearables readily available in the market, and many more are on the way. Healthcare is a very promising sector which merges medical, fitness and wellness. Products which connect easily and seamlessly to other useful devices combine to make users’ lives better, easier, healthier or more fun.
If you are involved in developing or promoting the current generation of wearable technologies, then participating in the Information and Stakeholders' Day on Smart Wearables is a must.
The meeting will inform participants about the launch of the 2016 call on the Internet of Things and exchange information about the proposals' ideas. It will identify future challenges and propose an action plan to overcome implementation barriers.
Participation is free of charge, but registration is compulsory and has to be done by 30/11/2015. The allocation of places is done on a first come, first served basis, and the number of places is limited.
