Info Day about Horizon 2020 ICT-LEIT and IoT 'cross-cutting actions' opportunities for research funding grants

H2020 IoT Info Day SQUARE

Brussels, Belgium

The info day will take place in Brussels, 25 January 2016.

The European Commission’s DG CONNECT (‘Net Futures’ Directorate) is hosting an Info Day about current open 'calls' for research funding grants and calls under "Horizon 2020 ICT Leadership in Enabling and Industrial Technologies (LEIT)" and also for IoT cross-cutting actions.

The Net Futures' Horizon 2020 Workprogramme 2016-2017 calls focus on various areas within ICT Research & Innovation (such as networks, cloud, Net Innovation etc.) and for the 'Internet of Things Focus Area' (cross-cutting actions). The calls can be found in the section Leadership in Enabling and Industrial Technologies and under the cross-cutting activities (Focus Areas) 2016-17 of that workprogramme section . Later in 2016 there will also be opportunities for research funding grants that encourage international cooperation with Brazil and for further Internet of Things Research and Innovation.

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

During registration you will have to select one of the following areas:

  • Focus Area Internet of Things (please make an additional selection between the 5 IoT pilots)
  • Cloud Computing, Software Technologies
  • Net Innovation
  • Experimental Platforms
