EPoSS Brokerage Event 2015
Amsterdam, 23 January 2015
The Event is dedicated to the presentation of project ideas and to brokerage and consortium building for Smart Systems projects.
The primary focus is on projects to be submitted for the 2015 Call of the Electronic Components and Systems for European Leadership Joint Undertaking (ECSEL JU). The relevant 2015 edition of the ECSEL MASRIA is available for download here.
However, other Calls related to Smart Systems Technologies under H2020 are also taken into account, such as, but not restricted to:
- ICT 24 - 2015: Robotics
- ICT 25 - 2015: Generic micro- and nano-electronic technologies
- ICT 27 - 2015: Photonics KET
- ICT 28 - 2015: Cross-cutting ICT KETs
- ICT 30 - 2015: Internet of Things and Platforms for Connected Smart Objects
Participants are invited to present project ideas in the brokerage sessions, to present posters in the poster session, and to display technology and partner offers and requests.
Rules for Participation
All participants are expected to present at least one project idea in the brokerage or poster session. A maximum of 5 minutes (3 slides or 1 poster) will be allocated for each presentation.
In order to help participants structure and present their proposals, and in order for us to have an overview of the quantity of proposals and the subjects covered, we strongly recommend that all participants use the template for presentation of project ideas provided for the event.
For all project ideas and posters that will be presented, the following information needs to be submitted to the EPoSS Office by 14 January 2015:
- Project acronym
- Project title
- Relevant call
- Name and affiliation of presenter
Presentations need to be brought to the event on a memory stick.
Posters need to be printed in maximum A0 format and brought to the event.
Additionally, organisations have the opportunity to display offers and requests for partners or technologies. If you wish to display an offer or request, please send a maximum of 1 page A4, font size 20, clearly stating the nature of the offer or request, a short description of the organisation, the technology offered or requested and your contact information by 14 January 2015 to the EPoSS Office. Registration
Participation in the EPoSS brokerage event is free of charge for EPoSS members. The fee for non-members is 150 €. Registration is mandatory and subject to confirmation by the organisers due to limited capacities. EPoSS members will be granted preferred access.

Brokerage Sessions
During the Event you can present your project in a 5 minute elevator pitch.
When registering for the event, please indicate the title of your project proposal.
One week before the Brokerage Event the EPoSS Office will notify you on the timing of your presentation.
Poster Session
In a dedicated poster session there also is the possibility to present a poster on your project idea to the other participants.
Please indicate the title of your poster when registering for the event.
One week before the Brokerage Event the EPoSS Office will notify you on the timing of your presentation.
Some relevant information for the Poster Session:
- You must bring your own poster.
- Only 1 poster per project idea.
- Maximum A0 poster size.
- During the registration you must check the option submit poster.
Technology and Partner Offers and Requests
Participants also have the opportunity to display technology and partner offers or requests.
