Sensor and Measurement Science International (SMSI) Conference

About the Conference 

The 2025 Sensor and Measurement Science International (SMSI) Conference will be held alongside the SENSOR+TEST fair, focusing on sensor technology and metrological instrumentation. The conference will take place at the Nuremberg Exhibition Center from 6 to 8 May 2025.  SMSI covers intelligent sensor technology, digital measurement science, and quantum-based metrology, including secure digital certificate exchange. The SMSI Conference is aiming equally at developers and decision-makers in industry as well as professionals at universities and at research institutes.

Program and Registration

The conference will among other things feature sessions on atmospheric measurement, multimodal IoT devices, flow sensing, and IR sensing, with presentations from experts worldwide. Additionally, there will be discussions on magnetic and inductive measurement, MEMS resonators, sensor intelligence devices, sensors for agrifood quality, bio sensing, hydrogen sensor technology, gas sensing or radar sensors. A further aspect will be funding opportunitites. The event aims to foster networking among professionals from industry and academia, providing a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration.
