You may choose between a full membership and a programme membership.

Full member

  • Unlimited membership duration
  • Membership fee plus variable fee for
Chips and KDT JU projects
  • Participation in Working Groups and Task Forces
  • Voting rights in the Executive Committee
  • Voting rights in General Assembly
(one vote per member)
  • Reduced entrance fee for participation
in EPoSS Annual Forum

Programme member

  • Limited membership duration: for total duration of Chips and KDT JU programmes
  • No membership fee, but variable fee for
Chips and KDT JU projects
  • Participation in Working Groups and Task Forces
  • Participation in the Executive Committee on invitation
only without voting rights 
  • Participation in General Assembly on invitation only without voting rights 
  • Reduced entrance fee for participation
in EPoSS Annual Forum

Membership Fees

The first year of EPoSS membership is free of charge for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with fewer than 250 employees.

Small Enterprise €500 Annual Fee
  • < 50 employees
  • turnover ≤ €10 million
Medium-sized Enterprise €1,500 Annual Fee
  • < 250 employees and/or
  • turnover ≤ €50 million
Universities and colleges €2,000 Annual Fee
Public research institutions €4,000 Annual Fee
  • open for other research institutes as well
Large Enterprise €8,000 Annual Fee
  • i.e. companies and groups with more than 250 employees and/or
  • an annual turnover ≥ € 50 m
Clusters €8,000 Annual Fee

Fees apply after the first free year (for SMEs).

Programme Membership for Chips / KDT JU Projects

EPoSS offers a programme membership for the duration of the Chips or KDT JU programmes.

EPoSS offers a programme membership for the duration of the project. You agree to pay this variable fee, which is defined in the official EPoSS Contribution Rules.
