On 22 November 2016 PENTA, the Eureka Cluster on micro and nanoelectronics enabled systems and applications, launched its second call for project proposals. Closing date for submission of Project Outlines is 7 February 2017.
PENTA targets transnational innovation supporting National priorities in micro and nanoelectronics enabled systems and applications. Driven by the roadmaps established in the 2016 AENEAS Strategic Agenda, PENTA is open to any projects in this domain - but with a special focus on applications in automotive, healthcare and production technologies. It is recognised that security, connectivity and energy efficiency are essential crosscutting contributors. Equipment, materials and tools are also instrumental in all technologies. Projects in areas not mentioned above may be considered, if pre-approved by relevant Public Authorities.
