Following a proposal by the EPoSS Steering Group, the General Assembly decided at its meeting in Barcelona on 5th October 2011 to further promote membership of SMEs in EPoSS through a drastically reduced membership contribution for associations of SMEs.
In addition to the already reduced contribution for individual SMEs, associations of SMEs are offered a drastically reduced annual contribution of 6,000 € for up to 6 SMEs. For each additional SME the association will be asked to pay another 1,000 €. A condition for receiving this special rate is that the associations are legal bodies.
Accordingly, the membership contributions for EPoSS Members are as follows:
- Large Companies (>250 employees): 6,000 €
- SMEs and public research institutions: 3,000 €
- Universities: 1,500 €
- Associations of SMEs (for up to 6 SMEs): 6,000 €
for each additional SME: +1,000 €
