The European Commission has published the call, which is coming under the EU's Seventh Framework Programme (FP7).
Nanoelectronics enable the production of innovative
electronic product and services in key growth markets for the European
economy. Well aware of their importance, the European Commission, EU
member states and associated states initiated the Eniac Joint
Undertaking in 2008. Eniac JU is a public-private partnership which aims
for further integration and miniaturisation of devices and increasing
their functionalities.
The Eniac Call 8 focuses on projects dealing with technological
research and development activities such as formulation of technology
concepts, experimental proofs and validation in laboratory conditions
corresponding to Technology Readiness Levels 2 to 5. Applicants must
include a valorisation and deployment plan in their project proposal,
which shall be submitted by 12 September 2013.
