The European Commission has published a call for proposals entitled 'NMP - Coordinated call EU-Japan 2013'. It is part of the latest set of calls published under the EU's Seventh Framework Programme (FP7).
Topics
Under the Nanoscience, Nanotechnologies, Materials and New
Production Technologies (NMP) theme, the call provides incentives to
coordinated projects for the development of new materials for the
substitution of critical metals. Successful applicants will receive
funding from the EU and the Japanese funding agency respectively.
The projects should focus on the interplay between theory and/or large
scale computational screening and experimental methods. They should
include the synthesis or fabrication of nano or microstructures as well
as an analysis of their effects and they can also address the
recyclability of the materials. Close collaboration between Japanese
and European partners is mandatory.
Publication Date: 10 July 2012
Budget: € 5 000 000
