The European Commission has published a call for proposals for the ENIAC Joint Undertaking.
The ENIAC Joint Undertaking is a public-private partnership focusing on nanoelectronics that brings together Member/Associated States, the European Commission and the Association for European Nanoelectronics Activities (AENEAS).
Call Focus
This call focuses on projects targeting Pilot Line activities.
A valorisation and deployment plan must be included in the Project Proposal.
Evaluation procedure:
A two-stage procedure will be followed. Applicants must submit
- Project Outlines (PO): Template 1, Template 2
- followed by Full Project Proposals (FPP): Template 1, Template 2
The submission of an eligible Project outline is mandatory for the submission of a Full Project Proposal.
The documents for the submission of Part C can be submitted trough the Electronic Proposal Submission Service system only if they are in PDF format. If other formats need to be submitted they have to be provided by email to the address: eniac@eniac.europa.eu, indicating Call number and proposal acronym or directly to the authorities if requested.
Deadlines for the submission
- Deadline for submission of Project outlines: 14
June 2012 at 17:00 (Brussels local time)
- Deadline for submission of Full Project Proposals: 13 September 2012 at 17:00 Brussels local time)
Financial contribution of the ENIAC Joint Undertaking to participants
Following the evaluation, selection and award procedures, it will conclude grant agreements with participants.The financial contribution of the ENIAC Joint Undertaking will be 15% of eligible costs incurred by participants to implement the projects.
Financial contribution of ENIAC Joint Undertaking member states to the participants
Following the evaluation, selection and award procedures, it will conclude national grants with participants. The financial contribution of the ENIAC member States will be a certain % of the eligible costs incurred by participants to implement the projects which may very according to the type of participant and the type of R&D activity as specified by each Member State.
