SSI 2014 will take place in Vienna on 26-27 March 2014. Like in previous years, EPoSS will organise two dedicated sessions and will also have a booth at the exhibition. For EPoSS members there is a special reduced rate for paticipation in the conference. Participation in the exhibition and in the EPoSS sessions is free of charge.
The SSI conference is the international communication platform for research institutes and manufacturers to exchange know-how on smart systems integration and to create the basis for successful research cooperations with focus on Europe.
The event is part of the activities of EPoSS, the European Technology Platform on Smart Systems Integration.
There will be two EPoSS sessions on the first conference day. The first session will be organised by EXPRESS, a new Coordination Action that is funded by the European Commission in FP7 and supports the strategic activities of EPoSS. The session focuses on the European Smart Systems Integration Ecosystem. The second session will be on opportunities for Smart Systems integration in the new JTI ECSEL and beyond. The programme of the EPoSS Sessions is available for download >>here.
EPoSS will also have a joint booth with the EXPRESS project at which there will be direct interaction with the participants, who are invited to contribute to a SWOT exercise and play an active role in the European Smart Systems Integration Ecosystem.
