
The Brokerage Event on the occasion of the first call for proposals under Horizon 2020 in the area of Smart Systems Integration will be held in Brussels, 11 March 2014 from 10h00 to 16h00. The event is organised by the unit A4 Components of the European Commission Directorate General for Communications Systems, Content and Technology - DG CONNECT.
The event will have three parts.
- At first, we will provide call related information, addressing
the Work Programme, the innovation focus, the funding instruments and
the evaluation process.
- Then the floor will be open for
participants to make 5-minute individual presentations, offering or
looking for complementary expertise or presenting proposal ideas.
- The concluding networking session will be an opportunity for interaction and discussions.
The call identifier is ICT-02-2014: Smart System Integration, and the Work Programme can be accessed under:
http://ec.europa.eu/research/participants/portal/desktop/en/opportunities/h2020/topics/79-ict-02-2014.html. It addresses Research & Innovation Actions, Innovation Actions, Pre-commercial procurement action and Coordination and Support Actions.
Space is limited. Should you be interested, please register as early as possible but no later then the 1st of March by sending an email to cnect-smart-systems-call-2014@ec.europa.eu
mentioning "Registration Brokerage Event" in the subject line. When
doing so, please mention your affiliation, its nationality, and whether
you wish to deliver a 5-minute presentation, and if so the title.
Participants will be registered on a first-come-first-served basis. The
EC may however prioritise participants to ensure an even geographical
and thematic distribution. All registrations need to be confirmed by the
organisers. The confirmation will contain a more detailed agenda.
