The SSI 2011 conference on 22-23 March 2011 in Dresden is part of the activities of EPoSS. EPoSS is organising two special EPoSS sessions on the first day of the conference and has a booth at the SSI 2011 exhibition.
Europa Press Release: EU research and innovation funding – immediate changes to cut red tape for researchers and SMEs
The European Commission has adopted measures to make participation in the EU's current Seventh Framework Programme for Research more attractive and more accessible to the best researchers and most innovative companies, especially Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs). Based on the simplification plan unveiled by the Commission in April 2010, these measures will take effect at once.
This workshop to be held in Prague on 25 March 2011 aims to discuss the experience and approaches taken when designing protocols and architectures for interconnecting smart objects to the Internet.
The 5th cluster workshop of European Commission (EC) funded projects on Micro-Nano-Bio Convergence Systems (MNBS) is co-organized by the European Commission and IKERLAN a private not-profit Technological Research Centre in the north of Spain and will take place in Mondragon, 5-6 April 2011. For the second year in a row, this event will be open to external participants of the MNBS cluster.

The Forum will take place in Helsinki on 15-16 June 2011.
The “International Conference on Concurrent Enterprising (ICE)” will take place in Aachen, 20-22 June 2011. The conference is hosted by the Institute for Industrial Management (FIR) at RWTH Aachen, and aims at representatives from research, politics and industry to discuss about “Innovating Products and Services for Collaborative Networks”.
The 15th International Forum on Advanced Microsystems for Automotive Applications (AMAA 2011) "Smart Systems for Electric, Safe and Networked Mobility" will take place 29-30 June 2011 in Berlin.
pHealth 2011 - 8th International Conference on Wearable Micro and Nano Technologies for Personal Health
Organized with the collaboration of the EU's Microsystems and ICT for Health units since 2003, the personalised Health forum seeks to identify and address the key challenges to successful "pHealth" provision, challenges which hinder the commercialisation and clinical uptake of viable healthcare solutions. The pHealth 2011 will be held in Lyon, 30 June - 1 July 2011.
Euromat 2011 to be held in Montpellier, 12-15 September 2011 will aim at giving emphasis to the link between Materials Science and its applications, between academic research and industry.
