On 7th & 8th October 2010 the EPoSS General Assembly & Annual Forum will take place at the Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon, Portugal.

We invite you to participate in this year’s EPoSS Annual Forum that will deal with the challenges of integration at all levels and with strategies towards the new European Research Framework Programme FP8.


  • Meet up with key representatives from industry, research and the European Commission
  • Find out about new approaches to the integration of technologies, functionalities and materials
  • Take on an active role in defining strategies towards FP8
  • Participate in this year’s EPoSS Annual Forum


On 7th October EPoSS members and those interested in becoming a member meet for the yearly EPoSS General Assembly. Following an activity and strategy report the members will elect the new EPoSS Chairman and Vice-Chairmen. In the afternoon there will be four parallel EPoSS Working Group meetings at which participants will discuss proposals and consortia for the upcoming round of calls.

An evening event will round up the programme of the first day.

For the EPoSS Annual Forum on 8th October six high-level keynote speakers have confirmed their attendance. In addition, 15 speakers from Europe and the US will present in three sessions leading-edge products and innovative approaches to Smart Systems Integration.
