The MME workshop is a well established and recognized European event in the field of micromachining, microengineering and technology for the realization of (micro)sensors and actuators. Scientists and people from industry interested in the field gather annually at the MME workshop . The goals are stimulation and improvement of know-how in the field as well as the establishment of cooperation and friendship between all attendees. MME is arranged so that people can meet in a friendly and informal atmosphere. Therefore the accent lies on mutual discussions as part of poster presentations rather than on formal oral presentations.

Call for Papers MME 2012

The workshop covers scientific areas of materials, processing technology and devices. The organizing committee invites papers in any subject related to micromachining, micromechanics and microsystems, including, but not restricted to:

  • Fabrication technologies and processes
  • Materials
  • Design and simulation tools
  • Microcomponent packaging and solutions
  • Device and process characterization
  • Sensing and actuation applications
  • Microfluidic components and systems
  • System integration of MEMS, NEMS, RF MEMS and MOEMS
  • BioMEMS
  • Micro-Nano Integration

Call for Papers

Journal of Micromechanics and Microengineering - a special issue

Authors of selected papers will be invited to contribute to a special issue of Journal of Micromechanics and Microengineering, the world's leading journal for MEMS and micro-scale research.

  • Journal of Micromechanics and Microengineering covers all aspects of microelectromechanical structures, devices, and systems, as well as micromechanics and micromechatronics.
  • The journal focuses on original work in fabrication and integration technologies, on the micro- and nano-scale. The journal aims to highlight the link between new fabrication technologies and their capacity to create novel devices.
