Dear Sir or Madam,

I cordially invite you to the
EPoSS General Assembly & Annual Forum 2015, 12-13 October 2015 in Leuven, Belgium
which will be co-located with the annual MNBS Workshop on 14-15 October 2015.

Not least thanks to innovation-oriented programmes and initiatives like Horizon 2020, ECSEL and Smart Anything Everywhere, Smart Systems are increasingly recognised as both enablers and solution providers by demand side industries such as manufacturing, medical, transport, logistics, ICT, agriculture, food, environment and energy, but also by end-users such as OEMs, clinicians, patients, consumers, citizens, and by decision-makers like financiers, marketeers and regulators.

The Internet of Things is one prominent example of the multitude of concrete opportunities for Smart Systems.

This year’s EPoSS Annual Forum will bring together the Smart Systems community and demand side industries for a showcase of Smart Systems solutions under the motto
“State of the (Sm)Art: Smart Systems Responding to Demand Side Requirements”

I invite you to submit your presentation proposal according to the Call for Presentations. Please also make ample use of the opportunity to exhibit, present and discuss posters and demonstrators.

See you in Leuven at the premises of our host, sponsor and co-organiser imec!

Invitation for MNBS 2015

Dear Sir or Madam,

We cordially invite you to the
9th Annual MNBS 2015 Workshop, 14-15 October 2015, imec, Leuven, Belgium

This year’s 2-day event will be hosted and co-organised by imec on behalf of the EC and is an excellent opportunity to

  • diffuse and exchange information on research & development results and innovative solutions from EC-funded projects and other initiatives in Europe.
  • identify synergies and possible collaborations to tackle critical issues covering the full value chain from R&D to Innovation.
  • meet with key representatives from industry, research, users and the European Commission,
  • take on an active role in defining research priorities and roadmaps for future research and in the forthcoming EC programme for research and innovation, Horizon 2020.

MNBS 2015 will emphasise on translating technologies into competitive, validated and manufacturable products to impact citizen‘s life. The programme includes oral and poster presentations from running and finished R&D projects, coordinated and support actions presentations and invited sessions, bringing technologies and solutions providers closer to business and to end-users, as well as technology roadmaps and ideas to build the innovation value supply chain.

We look forward to welcoming you in Leuven!
