CosmoCaixa Museum

Funded by La Caixa, one of Catalonia's foremost banks, this science museum partly occupies an early 20th Century palace. The site also boasts a stunning modern extension, completed in 2004 and made of glass and steel, with six, light-flooded underground floors and a plaza with views over the city of Barcelona.

The CosmoCaixa Science Museum in Barcelona was voted one of the best science museums in Europe due to its unique design and innovative and interactive exhibits spread over a total area of 50.000 m2.  The Geological Wall, the Amazon Forest and Planetarium are most popular permanent exhibits. During these dates the exhibitions  "Dinosaurios" and "Imaginario, una mirada matemática"  will be presented in the Center, so we invite you to visit them.
