In 2014 the ECSEL Joint Undertaking is expected to launch its first Call for project proposals. To help with the preparation of drafting proposals and search for the right consortium partners, ARTEMIS Industry Association organises the ARTEMIS Pre-Brokerage Event in Brussels, Belgium. About 250 participants from all over Europe are expected to attend this event.

This year the ARTEMIS Pre-Brokerage Event will be back-to-back with the AENEAS/CATRENE Brokerage Event (5 & 6 February 2014). On Wednesday 5 February, the two events will take place in parallel with a common lunch to facilitate networking.
Please note that you need to register seperately for the AENEAS/CATRENE event on the AENEAS website.

Artemis Brokerage event

What is the ARTEMIS Pre-Brokerage Event?
It is an event that provides the opportunity to meet consortium partners and drafting project proposals with the starting consortia. The event is an important indication for public authorities to sense the field of interest in advance. Furthermore it informs on the Draft Multi-Annual Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (MASRIA) under preparation by the three Industry Associations in ECSEL and the ARTEMIS SRA Addendum. Later in the year both documents will be input to the expected ECSEL-JU Call 2014.   ARTEMIS Cyber-Physical Systems roadmap
In order to deliver a set of solutions creating an innovative environment, research directions are selected and organised along a road-map composed of four clusters and along three phases,
A.    Architectures Principles and models for Autonomous Safe and secure Cyber-Physical Systems
B.    System Design, modelling and virtual engineering for Cyber-Physical Systems
C.    Autonomous adaptive and cooperative Cyber-Physical Systems
D.    Computing Platforms and energy management
        More details: here.

Advantages of the ARTEMIS Pre-Brokerage Event
  > propose your project idea to potential project partners
  > check project ideas from others in order to join their consortium
  > work out project ideas to indicative proposal
  > build a project consortium
  > build and enlarge your network

Who should attend?
Everyone who is interested in responding to the expected first Call of ECSEL in 2014 for project proposals in Embedded and Cyber Physical Systems. The international Pre-Brokerage Event in Brussels is the right place to bring together well targeted ideas and clearly defined cooperation needs from the research and business sector.

How to make the best out of the ARTEMIS Pre-Brokerage Event?
Before the Pre-Brokerage Event, we invite all participants to make their project ideas known via the ARTEMIS Project Idea Tool (gather the content for the project idea poster via this web tool). Use the ARTEMIS Brokerage Poster Example to create a poster. Consortia that have uploaded their idea in ARTEMIS Project Idea Tool will have the opportunity to:

1. Present their idea in the plenary session in a short project pitch (5 min) to promote their poster.
2. Get poster space to further generate interest during the poster session (after project pitches).
3. Get a reserved meeting space during the break-out session (tables).
