MNT ERA-Net opened its third Transnational Call on 14 December 2007 with 17 participating funding programmes.

MNT ERA-Net

It is the goal of MNT ERA-Net to make national support programmes in Micro- and Nano Technologies accessible to transnational consortia and to encourage especially small consortia and newcomers to participate in transnational cooperation.

Two calls for transnational, pre-competitive research projects have already been executed in 2006 and 2007 demonstrating successful transnational cooperations between funding programmes.

Scope of the call 2008:

  • MNT ERA-Net is seeking proposals for commercialisable R&D projects.
  • consortia of at least two parties from two different participating regions / countries with the knowhow to commercialise the expected results are invited.


All MNT topics are eligible, in particular

  • microsystems
  • micro and nano manufacturing
  • micro and nano electronics
  • nanostructured materials

 
Deadline for pre-proposals is 28 February 2008.
