The focus of the Proposers' Day will be on those objectives of the new ICT Work Programme 2011-2012 that are relevant for EPoSS and that have upcoming calls in 2010, in particular
- Smart Components and Smart Systems Integration
- Micro Nano Bio Systems
- Personal Health Systems
- ICT for Ageing
- OLAE Systems and Applications
- EU-Brazil Cooperation
Objectives of the event are to
- provide up-to-date information on the new ICT Work Programme 2011-2012
- inform on upcoming calls that are relevant to the EPoSS community,
- provide answers to questions relating to those calls and to the proposal procedure,
- give proposers the opportunity to present and discuss their project ideas,
- create a forum for fruitful discussion on promising project ideas,
- help organizations find partners for successful project consortia.
The agenda comprises
- an information and Q & A session with representatives from the Commission, the National Contact Point for Microsystems Technologies (Germany), and EPoSS key representatives,
- a sequence of 3 brokerage sessions on the main objectives of the new ICT Work Programme
- ample space for networking and (bilateral) brokerage.
Participants are requested to present a project proposal or to provide either a technology offer or a technology request (see also rules for participation). Technology offers and requests will be on display throughout the event.

Participation is free of charge and not limited to EPoSS members. However, registration is mandatory before 2 September 2010 and subject to confirmation by the organisers, due to limited capacities. EPoSS members will be granted preferred access.
The event is jointly organized by EPoSS and the German National Contact Point for Microsystems Technologies
The Proposers' Day will be followed on the next day (i.e. 10 September 2010) by the "Joint Strategy and Networking Event 2010 - Thinking Ahead the PPP European Green Cars Initiative".
