"Smart Systems for Safety, Sustainablility, and Comfort"
The International Forum on Advanced Microsystems for Automotive Applications (AMAA) is an exclusive showroom of industrial and academic R&D activities in the domain of smart miniaturized systems and ICT based solutions for future mobility and transport.
In 2009 a major focus was put on the current towards the Green Car. AMAA participants presented their research on energy efficient vehicles, electric power trains, cooperative intersection safety, driver assistance systems and novel highly integrated components for various applications in the automobile. The keynote speech was given by Dr. Thierry Van der Pyl, Director Components and Systems with the Information Society and Media Directorate-General of the European Commission.
