Korea-EU Cooperation Forum on ICT

Developed in the framework of the ASIACOOP initiative and supported by the European Commission, this event will be held in Seoul, South Korea, on days 16-17 June 2008. This Forum aims at identifying, discussing, and developing joint strategic ICT research projects of mutual benefit to the European Union and Korea. The European Commission and the Ministry of Information and Communication Republic of Korea will propose a list of such areas, i.e. of ICT research topics to be addressed through thematic sessions. However, several parallel sessions will have an open theme, so that European and South Korean organisations willing to address a different research topic can have the opportunity, if selected through the Call for papers process, to present their contributions during the parallel sessions as well.
