Internet of Things - Internet of the Future 06/07 October 2008

The French European Union Presidency Conference on “Internet of Things – Internet of the Future” will foster the creation of the technological, economical and political bases necessary for the development of a European market for mobile services as well as for services related to the use of the Internet of Things.

The conference will concentrate on two areas:

• the aspects related to the development of the mobile Internet and
  
• the industrial and technological perspectives necessary for the development of the Internet of Things in Europe.

The conference will also discuss questions related to the governance of the Internet of the Future as well as to data protection and privacy in order to build up the trust necessary to develop these innovations in Europe.
