This event is organised by the European Commission's Information Society and Media Directorate-General, in cooperation with the Hungarian National Office for Research and Technology.
The ICT Proposers' Day will be held in Budapest, Hungary, on 22 January 2009. It will focus on mobilising key research actors and firms from all over Europe and from third countries, in particular from neighbouring regions, to collaborate and establish partnerships in ICT research and development.
The event has two main objectives: networking and obtaining information.
Networking:
- Meet researchers with similar or complementary research interests.
- Form project consortia – to participate in the new Work Programme 2009-2010.
- Follow-up of the ICT Event in Lyon.
Obtaining information:
- Challenges and objectives of the Work Programme.
- Instruments, contracts, and rules to participate in the new working programme.
- Around 100 Commission Officials present.
Prepare in advance your participation starting from now!
- Meet your future partners virtually on the internet site through an online communication forum.
- Leave your comments and express your interest.
- Present your proposal idea - submit a presentations until 19th of January, 12:00 h.
