Relevant for members of the WG Automotive & RFID.

The IEEE (the world's leading professional association for the advancement of technology) will held, on its 13th edition, the International Conference on Emerging Technologies and Factory Automation, the ETFA 2008. This will be the prime and largest event of the IEEE, which will include conference series dedicated to factory automation and emerging technologies in industrial automation. The EFTA 2008 will take place in Hamburg the days 15-18 September 2008 with subjects referring to:

  • Innovative applications of AUTO-ID technologies in various sectors, including
    manufacturing, warehousing, transport and retailing.
  • RFID and other AUTO-ID technologies with sensor networks, communication infrastructures and systems of ambient intelligence.
