Move a File / Item
To structure the immense information on a plone site, contents like files or documents are organised in folders. The scheme is very similar to windows. In these folders you have the possibility to delete or to move the items into another folder by copy/cut and paste.
Show the content of a folder
Click the "Contents"-Tab on the blue border around the top of the page.
Now you will see all items in this folder.

| Move files/items into another folder First, you have to mark all items you want to copy or cut in the small box on the left of the title-column (indicated in the screenshot). Notice, if you want to move a document with pictures, you have to mark the document AND the pictures. Then click copy or cut. A paste-button will appear between the copy- and the delete-button at the bottom. Now go to the folder where you want to paste the selected items and click paste. |
